Nova Nardi

Nova Nardi is a Canadian pop artist of Brazilian-Italian descent based in Toronto. Singing since the age of four, Nova honed her talents through the church choir before moving to Montreal with her mother at age 14. Growing up listening to pop, classical, and rock music, Nova was influenced by the likes of Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Christina Aguilera; by 16 years old, Nova had started writing her own material and following her dreams of a career as a professional singer.

Wanting to pursue this passion further, Nova later relocated to Toronto and immersed herself in the local music culture. Her 2012 single “I’m Gonna Be a Pop Star” appeared on the TV show Dance Moms, and was later featured on a slew of networks, including the E! Emmy Awards “Live from the Red Carpet,” MTVU Fandom Awards, Grammy Awards “Countdown to the Red Carpet” and the E! “Countdown to the Golden Globes” repeatedly between 2012 and 2015. During this time, Nova was also featured in the music video for French EMI artist Amine’s “My Girl” and was a catalogue model for the clothing line “Groggy,” in addition to releasing several singles.

In addition, Nova has been involved in charity performances and fundraisers since 2011, using her talent and passion to help benefit charitable causes. She is also a member of the Caring for Young Minds (CYM) Foundation and is participating in the 2018 “U In Your Element” benefit concert in Toronto. Fluent in English, Portuguese and French, Nova’s music is a way of connecting with people around her–spreading as much love and joy as possible in the hope that her listeners get to feel the butterflies she gets when she listens to music she really likes.

In 2018, Nova released her latest single, “I Want Your Love,” marking a defining change in the artist’s brand. Currently, Nova is gearing up to release her debut EP, Nova, and go on tour in both Canada and Europe.
